AI Visibility Audit — Metro Vancouver

Your patients are asking AI which clinic to book.
It probably isn’t saying your name.

I test 38 real patient questions across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, screenshot every result, and show you exactly who’s getting recommended in your place — and why. 48 hours, $650.

Why AI visibility matters

In 2026, the share of consumers using AI tools to find local businesses went from 6% to 45% in a single year. It is now the third most-used discovery channel, behind Google and Facebook. 63% of those users say they trust the recommendation they’re given.

— BrightLocal, Local Consumer Review Survey 2026

How a recommendation is formed

Three things happen before your name comes up.

  1. 01

    AI retrieves

Assistants don’t rank businesses. They summarise a handful of pages. Whoever appears favourably in those pages gets recommended — everyone else is invisible, regardless of how good they are.

  2. 02

    Competitors appear

The pages doing the deciding are not the ones you’d expect. In Richmond, two obscure directories drive a large share of med spa recommendations. Not Yelp. Not Google.

  3. 03

    You disappear

A 5.0 rating doesn’t protect you. I’ve audited clinics with perfect reviews that no assistant will name once, across any of the three engines.

Sample output

Your visibility is measurable.

Every audit ends in four numbers you can track over time. These are sample figures from the redacted report above, not a real client result.

Questions

Before you ask.

How is this different from SEO?

SEO is about where you appear in a list of blue links. This is about whether an assistant names you at all when someone asks it a question. Different retrieval, different sources, different fixes. Good SEO helps but doesn’t guarantee it.

Can you guarantee I’ll be recommended?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. AI outputs vary between runs and shift when models update. I guarantee the audit, the evidence, and the fix list. Most listing and schema corrections show up within four to eight weeks.

Do you need access to my website or accounts?

Not for the audit. Just your clinic name and URL. Implementation needs access to your Google Business Profile and site.

What if I’m already visible?

Then the report says so and you’ve spent $650 confirming it. That happens. I’d rather tell you that than invent a problem.

Do you work with clinics outside Vancouver?

Yes, though the local directory work is strongest where I know the market.
